I had a new heat pump installed in 2024. There are two pages where you can enter the cost of the heat pump. Do I enter the heat pump cost on both pages, or only one page?
The 1st page header is “Enter Any Residential Clean Energy Improvements” and includes solar electric costs, solar water heating costs, small wind energy property, geothermal heat pump property, and qualified batter storage. The 2nd page header is “Enter your qualified energy property costs”, and lists central AC, water heaters, furnace, panelboard, home energy audit, heat pump, etc.
