Question

I had a question about my 1098: It's asking if this loan is refinance of a previous loan or not. It *was* back in 2021 but that was 3 years ago?

I assume it's asking if the refi was in the 23' tax year but isnt specifying. 
I was going to choose "this loan is neither of these as it's not a recent refi- or a HELOC. I really don't want to pay 100 bucks for one question.

@Zinkerton , yes it is a bit confusing -- just choose " neither of above" and go forth

The loan was a refinance in 2021 and it is still a refinance of a previous loan now. You should select that it is a refinance of a previous loan.
