I had an energy efficient heat pump installed in 2023, I paid $13k, the IRS says I should get a $2k credit but I can't see how to add it to turbotax

I added it as "Energy-Efficient Building Property" but that only increased my credit by a few hundred dollars, not the $2k it should have.

Form DR 1322 isn't a form that's available through TurboTax, and it can't be e-filed with your return.

Colorado Form DR 1322, Heat Pump System or Heat Pump Water Heater Eligibility Certification and Assignment Election, is a document that requires signatures, and therefore can't be submitted with an electronically-transmitted return.  You'll need to print and mail your return to claim the Refundable Heat Pump Credit.

See DR 1322 - Heat Pump System or Heat Pump Water Heater Eligibility Certification and Assignment Election for more information.

The credit is claimed on line 14 of Form 104CR, Individual Credit Schedule 2023, which is supported by TurboTax.

To mail Form DR 104 and all attachments:

With a payment, send to:

COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE

Denver, CO 80261-0006

Without a payment, send to:

COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE

Denver, CO 80261-0005

Good to know, I see the federal form for that will be ready next week. Still, the Colorado form (DR 1322) seems to be missing from your list. Is there an estimate on when that one will be available?
