I have a form 2217-4 from a lawyer for a real estate sale. How , where do i report this? I only see 1099 ?

Parents home, out in the 4 childrens names many years ago. Sold last year of their deaths.

You would still enter it in either sale of home or second home depending on its usage. The form is not an IRS form so you can just take the information from it.

 

I'm not sure what "out in the 4 childrens names many years ago" means. Does this mean that the home was gifted to 4 children before the death of your parents or if 4 children inherited it after death. How you enter information relies on both usage and whether it was a gift or inheritance.
