Question

I have a plumbing business and run the business out of my home office. Is the office my primary place of work, even though I travel to customer homes to perform my job?

Yes, your home office can be considered your principal place of business "if you use it exclusively and regularly for keeping books, billing clients or patients, ordering supplies, making appointments, or writing reports for your business, and you have no other fixed location where you do these tasks."
