I have a question about line 3 of my schedule A under Medical and Dental Expenses.

I didn't claim any medical or dental expenses other than payment of  health insurance premiums, so I'm not sure why line 3 (line 2 x 10%) is populated. Can someone please confirm if this is standard deduction or if I entered something somewhere that is driving this.

Line 3 of Schedule A is a pre-populated number, it has nothing to do with what you entered before.

It's 10% of line 38.  You need to have more than that amount to take your medical expenses.  If you don't it will still be there, but doesn't have any effect on your taxes.
