Question

I have been stationed overseas for the last three year and haven't qualified for EIC. Is there a specific way to file my taxes? Should I get previous years amended?

Please be more clear.  Do you mean you have not filed a tax return at all for three years?  Or do you mean you want to amend three years' worth of previously filed tax returns?  And what does it have to do with the earned income credit?

Income that qualifies for the Foreign Earned Income exclusion doe not qualify for the EIC.
