Question

I have purchased energy efficient HVAC equipment and IRA.gov states it is worth more of a tax credit than turbo tax is saying I get. Is anyone having the same problem?

I bought a Air Source Heat pump and I should be getting a $2,000 tax credit and it won't give me that.  I also had insulation added in my attic from a contractor and it is suppose to be 30% up to $600 as well which it is not giving me back.

Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

Tax form availability tool,

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.
