I have to pay child support to the state and I don’t have any information about my child. How can I get my money from the government

    You will have to contact your state.

    Child support payment are not entered on a tax return.

    If you owe delinquent child support, your federal and/or state refunds can be seized by the IRS or your state.  TurboTax never knows about child support you owe.   You can check to see if there is a federal order to offset your refund for the child support.
