I initially added 19 foreign accounts to form 8938. Later I removed one account but the form now has inaccuracies. How can I directly edit this form to correct it?

If you are using the online edition, unlike the desktop version, you cannot edit the information directly on the form.

In online, to edit the information, you would have to return to the Foreign account/asset section in the interview part.  Here are the steps:

• Sign in to your TurboTax account and select Pick up where you left off
• At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in "foreign assets" and Enter
• Select Jump to foreign assets
• Follow prompts to edit information

If it does not work.  Maybe remove the Form 8938 and re-enter the information.  To remove, here are the steps: 

• Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
• To your left, Select Tax Tools/drop-down menu
• Select Tools
• Under Other helpful links, choose to Delete a form
• Select Delete next to Form 8938 and Continue with My Return to proceed

To re-enter, follow the steps above.
