I know that mileage, gas, lodging, parking and tolls for an out of town surgery are deductible. What about meals for my wife for the 3 days she waited for me?

My wife waited in town for the three days I was in hospital. Are the meals she consumed also deductible as a medical expense? Hospital was 100 miles from home.

Meals related to medical expenses such as out-of-town travel are not deductible.
