Question

I'm working on my Ohio return. I'm a nonresident but use Ohio as my mailing address. I see no option for including my foreign address.

Where (and why) do you want to enter your foreign address if you are using your Ohio address as a mailing address? What are you trying to do?

In the Personal Info/My Info section, you enter the address at which you would actually receive notices from the IRS and state if they needed to send you something. If your Ohio address qualifies, then why do you need to enter your foreign address?

Help me understand because I am afraid that I am missing something.

Thank you for trying to help me figure this out!

I use the Ohio address as my mailing address / voting address but have "nonresident" status in Ohio. I do not live there and my income is foreign earned.  In the past, I have always filed both federal and state with TurboTax and the platform has always let me file with nonresident status listing my foreign country as my place of residence, but for some reason this year, it's not an option in the drop-down list.

"the platform has always let me file with nonresident status listing my foreign country as my place of residence,"

Where are you talking about? In the Ohio interview?

As I noted, it sounds like you want to use your Ohio address in the Personal Info/My Info section, because you will receive mail there.

Otherwise, you can enter whatever address you want in other places, and many (most?) will allow foreign addresses.

So which screen are you on that doesn't allow you to enter a foreign address?
