It depends. For Earned Income Credit, your income level (earned income and AGI) must fall within the IRS guidelines for your filing status. These requirements are as follows:

Single, Head of Household, and Qualifying Widower

  • No Children: $15,010
  • One Child: $39,617
  • Two Children: $45,007
  • Three or More Children: $48,340

Married Filing Jointly

  • No Children: $20,600
  • One Child: $45,207
  • Two Children: $50,597
  • Three or More Children: $53,930

You must also meet the other requirements for claiming the earned income credit. Please visit the TurboTax link below for more information about these requirements.
