Question

I only had 1 residence in 2024. Why is it trying to get me to put in an amount of tax paid on another property?

    You probably have two 1098 forms started in TurboTax.  Try searching for 1098, then use the Jump to 1098 link to be taken to the mortgage interest summary screen.   If you have multiple lenders or properties listed, remove the one that doesn't belong.
