Question

I paid foreign taxes on dividend income from two different countries; Canada and Switzerland. How do i indicate more than one country in Box 8 of 1099-Div?

Select the option Various from the dropdown menu.  If you do not see this option and these were mutual fund investments you can also choose the option RIC (Registered Investment Contract.)   

 

Either one will work for your dividends.
