I paid tax only on personal residence property so why is $0 not accepted as amount not on principal residence?

    It depends.  If I understand your question, you did not pay property tax on  your residence.  The best action is to clear the field with the delete key and do not make an entry of zero.

    Same would apply if you are referring to personal property taxes.  TurboTax will function best when there is no entry versus a zero entry.
