Question

I pay $2800/month alimony. Former wife pays $650/month child support. I deduct child support from alimony and pay $2150/month. Can I deduct $2,800/month alimony?

First, alimony is only deductible to the payor and taxable to the payee if the divorce agreement was signed before 1/1/2019.  For any agreement signed on or after 1/1/2019, alimony is no longer deductible or taxable.

If this is a 2018 or earlier divorce, then you are technically correct, your payment of $2800 is taxable to your ex and your ex's payment of $650 to you is not taxable.  Taking advantage of that technicality might tick off your ex.
