I realized I incorrectly filed my 2016 return for EIC, I was stationed in Okinawa Japan all of 2016 as well (technically in US). Is there anything I can do?

If the concern is that you did not reside in the US, it may not be an issue in your case.

Servicemen stationed overseas are considered as living in the United States for the entire year for EIC purposes. See the following link: 

Military Personnel Stationed Outside the United States

Members of the military on extended active duty outside the Unites States are considered to live in the United States for tax purposes.

If this is not the issue, you would need to amend your return to correct the issue:
