Question

I replaced attic insulation in 2022. Orkin has refused to give me a breakdown of materials versus labor. Since only materials count, any ideas on the tax credit? Thanks.

I recommend you determine the type of insulation that was installed, and then do a little research to determine what the cost of those materials are. You can then determine what a reasonable cost for those materials would be (based on the area where the insulation was installed) and use that amount to calculate the credit.
