Solved

I show $6.60 in foreign tax paid from "Various" countries, but I did not see a place to report this on Form 1099-DIV. What do I do with this?

On the data entry page for the 1099-DIV (Federal->Wages & Income->Interest and Dividends->Dividends on 1099-DIV), there is an easy-to-overlook line under Box 1b: "My form has info in more than just these boxes". I don't know why it says that this is uncommon, since foreign tax paid is fairly common on 1099-DIV forms with sizable portfolios.

In any case, check this line and 11 more boxes will appear - including the box you need - Box 6 Foreign tax paid.
