Question

I thought per Biden Child tax credit is 3000 per qualifying child/dependent why do you only give 2000?

The $3000 child tax credit is no more than talk at this point. It will take an act of Congress to make that happen, Congress has not acted on it so if and when it ever happens, it will become part of the tax law, You have no reason to look for it in the current tax software.
