I used Turbo tax for 2018 return, but I don't use it for 2019. I need to get some info: did I take simplied or actual deduction for the home office in 2018?

I have the .tax file, but how do I open it? I signed into my Turbo tax account, but all I see is how to download the return and the .tax file again. The return doesn't have the info I need. I already have the .tax file.

You may need to download TurboTax Desktop to open the .tax file.

See if you have Form 8829 in your PDF file. In the center of the form is a checkbox for 'Simplified Method'.

When you Sign In to your TurboTax account, select 'Amend' for 2018 under the Show option for 'My Tax Returns and Documents'.

Thank you, but all I can do it to print my 2018 return. I already have that. I need to get into actual tax file .tax.
