I was paid for car mileage in the past year. Do I have to submit that payment one my taxes?

I was paid the standard IRS amount for mileage compensation.

No, If you submit an expense account to your company and you receive reimbursement it typically will not be taxed.  However, some business arrangement do include compensation as fringe benefits that may be taxed.
