I was wondering why i have EIC? i didnt claim anyone on my taxes and i want to make sure the information is correct

You do not have to have any qualifying children to still be eligible for the EIC under certain circumstances. If your earned income is under $14,880 and you are using the Single filing status and you are over 25 but under 65, you may still be eligible for EIC.
