I work for a financial institution and have signing authority over a financial account in a foreign country. How do I check Yes for Part III boxes 7a and 7b?

@tara-powell on schedule B the question about signature authority or ownership of foreign account refers to personal account not a company account. I am assuming that you as an employee of an entity have signature over foreign account(s) belonging to the entity. Did I misunderstand your question ?

That's correct, it's a company account I have signing authority over, not a personal account. Thanks for clarifying!

In the search bar at the top of your screen:

Enter foreign accounts and trusts, questions on schedule b into the search bar.. Enter it exactly as shown with the comma after the word trusts. Then click the jump to link.
