Question

I worked on an international cruise ship for over 6 months. How do I file the money I made?

It was not an american ship. I first spent two months in Berlin, and then 6.5 months on the ship with occasional stops on land.

The U. S. tax system is world wide.  So U. S. citizens get taxed on their income regardless of where it was earned.

So it will all be taxed by the U. S.

You do not qualify for Foreign income exclusion as you were not overseas for 330 days.

You may qualify for a Foreign Tax credit if you paid taxes overseas on the money.

Below is some very helpful information.
