Song contests have entry fees, where do I list them?
You will list your literary contest entry fees under the other miscellaneous expenses category of Schedule C. Follow the directions below to enter your writing contest fees into TurboTax.
- Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
- Click the Federal tab from the left-side menu.
- Click the Income & Expenses tab from the top of the screen.
- Click Edit/Add or Review next to Self-employment income and expenses.
Enter your E-mail address. We'll send you an e-mail with instructions to reset your password.
