Question

If I didn't report last year's interest paid on my car, what can I do about that now, if I am reporting it this year?

I overlooked this section on my taxes last year and did not ask my lender on the interest paid on the vehicle for 2019. I am reporting it this year, 2020, so I'd like to know if I can stack it together.

No, you can only deduct the interest in the year that it was paid.
