If I got a Nonbusiness Energy Property Credit in 2010 for exterior doors, am I ineligible in 2016 for the installation of insulation in my attic?

TurbTax is showing I can't claim the insulation installation in 2016 because of the exterior doors I had claimed in 2010, form 5695, line 11 for $855.

Yes, that's correct. The Nonbusiness Energy Property Credit has a lifetime total combined limit of $500. The numbers you provided indicate that you have used up this credit.

See IRS Instructions for Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits for more information.
