Question

If I received RSUs this year and already paid taxes on it, why do I still have taxes due on that amount?

There is no way to say that the amount you owe is because of your RSUs.  That is just one piece of your tax return.  If you had shares sold to cover taxes, your employer received that money and forwarded it to the government.  Any amounts paid for taxes will show up on your W-2.  It is very unlikely that your employer did not include the amounts on your W-2, but you can certainly check with your payroll department and confirm the taxes paid were included on your W-2.   Please see this similar discussion.
