I'm trying to import a form 1098 info from my lender, but my lender is not in the list of results. How do I find my lender?

I do have a 1098 form from lender. It looks like my lender doesn’t have partnership with Turbo tax because I can’t find my lender from the list. The thing is I can’t manually fill in the info without finding my lender from the list...

When you are on that first page that says "enter the name of your lender" there should be a link below that to "Change how I enter my information" then on the next page "Type it myself."

You do not import 1098's from lenders.  You wait to get it from the lender in January or February and key it in.

If I am mistaken about importing 1098's from lenders----it might just be too soon to import data from a lender or bank, since they rarely have any of that information ready until late January or early February, you may need to wait and import it IF your lender is on the list.   If your lender is not partnered with TurboTax then you do have to key it in yourself.

You can always manually enter a 1098.  Your lender must issue the 1098 by January 31, it might be mailed or in your online account or both.  Not all lenders participate in direct import, and even for the ones that do, it may be too early.
