If the home I bought last year came with energy saving improvements can I claim them?

Essentially the home I bought last year that was not a new build came with some things that qualify for the energy saving home improvements. They were not installed last year but were there when we moved in. Can I claim them?

No, you cannot claim the energy improvement credits if you did not have the equipment installed in 2016.
