Yes, you should answer YES to the first question in that section if you took the standard deduction. It does not mean you owe the tax. The next questions are about uncommon situations and you can mark None of These Apply if that is the case. The next screen will tell you if you are subject to the AMT; few tax payers are subject to the AMT.

The Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) is an extra tax that some people have to pay in addition to their regular income tax.
