Im trying to finish my state form but it keeps taking me back to a form about selling a house. I didnt sell my residence or any house how do I delete?

Please make sure you didn't enter a 1099-S in error.

If you have a 1099, please make sure you entered it on the correct screen. 

You can look for a 1099-S in your forms. If you didn't get one for 2020, delete it. 

If you DID get a different kind of 1099, such as a 1099-R or 1099-MISC, be sure that form is entered.

Steps to Delete a Form:

Sign in to your online account

Continue working on your return

Click Tax Tools on the left side bar

Click Tools on the drop-down

Click "Delete a form" on the “Tools Center” screen

Scroll down the list and find 1099-S then click Delete

Confirm the delete
