Question

In reviewing my return it says there is 1 that needs checked and form 1116 comes up. I'm now aware of any foreign tax credit and can't get this to quit coming up. Help

Please check your 1099 DIV income as that is the most likely place to have foreign tax paid. The additional pages contain the foreign source and income. See Where do I enter the foreign tax credit (Form 1116) or deduction? Note, you can try both options. The credit is most commonly used.
