inherited money from sale of a home

I inherited a small amount of money less than 2000 from the sale of a home my Grandfather and his second wife had together. My grandfather past years ago his wife just this year decided to sale the house . I was not aware until the title co contacted me to let me know I have a small amount coming from the sale of the home . How do I file the money recieved on my tax's . I have no idea how much they paid for the home I only know how much the home sold for and that 13 people were spliting the money . The wife received one half of the sale for herself then his childrend and grandchildren split the other half .
