Is a missed medical appointment a deductible expense?

My daughter missed a medical appointment that I was charge for.  Can I include it as a deductible expense with my other medical bills?

No.  You would not be able to include missed appointment fees as this was not a payment for services rendered.  There was no medical care provided or received for this fee. 

 

Remember Medical bills are only deductible for the amount that is over 7.5% of your AGI.
