Is the sale of the previous primary residence which sat vacant for 2 years after we moved to our new primary residence count as the sale of a second home or of a primary?

The previous house had been our primary residence and it sat vacant while it took us the almost 2 years’ time to sell it (planned on selling it much faster, but the market was slow).
