    Yes, there's a CA State Foster Youth Credit for up to $1,154 per eligible individual.  There are certain requirements that must be met by current and former foster youth.

     

    To find out if you are eligible, review the Franchise Tax Board website Foster Youth Tax Credit.

     

    Refer to the CA Department of Social Services website Foster Youth Tax Credits for more information.
