It’s Deductible discontinued!

Just received notice that Intuit will discontinue ItsDeductible.com effective October 2022 due to “limited number of customers…no longer meets the level of user experience we strive to provide, so we’ve decided to discontinue it.”

As a loyal Intuit Turbotax user since 1992, this is definitely one of the low points in relying on ItsDed to obtain IRS values for donated items throughout the year. Given the annual profitable sale of TTax products, this key program is minutiae storage and maintenance by comparison. Why not include ItsDed in the TTax program so data is filed each year with the user return. 

Intuit won’t even extend the deadline into early 2023 to cover 2022 donations.

The suggestion to use Mint.com is worthless.

Now that 2020 and 2021 history is downloaded, it’s time to switch tax programs…goodbye Intuit after 30 years.
