Question

It says I have a financial account in a foreign country when I do not have one, how do I fix this?

Taxpayers use Form 8938 to report their specified foreign financial assets if the total value of all the specified foreign financial assets in which they have an interest is more than the appropriate reporting threshold. Form 8938

 

If that does not apply to you, you can delete the form:

 

1.  Sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off

2.  From the left menu, select Tax Tools, then tools

3.  Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form

5.  Select Delete next to the Form 8938 and Continue with My Return
