Question

It says to enter the milage on the vehicle I used to commute to work in but I don't know what it was or what it is now. Can I still claim it?

No.  You cannot enter mileage for commuting to and from work.

COMMUTING EXPENSES

The expenses of commuting to and from work (or to and from school) such as gas, tolls, bus fare, train fare, taxis, Uber rides, parking, etc. are not deductible on your Federal return.  Sorry.

Can I deduct job-related expenses on my tax return?

Sorry---W-2 employees cannot deduct job-related expenses on a federal return.  Job-related expenses were eliminated as a federal deduction for W-2 employees by the tax laws that changed for 2018 and beyond.  Your state tax laws might be different in AL, AR, CA, HI, MN, NY or PA.
