How do I go back on Turbo Tax to change from itemizing to not itemizing.

TurboTax select the deduction that gives you the best outcome on your federal taxes. Most 2020 federal tax filers will be better off with the standard deduction versus the itemized deduction.

To switch from itemized to standard deduction:

Sign in to your account.
Select Federal from the left menu.
Go to Deductions and Credits, scroll down and hit Wrap up Tax breaks .
Continue to the screen Based on what you just told us, the standard ( itemized) deductions is best for you and click Change my deduction.
