Just wanted to confirm how much do i get for Child Tax credit , as one of my son is age 17 years. ?

When did he turn 17?  You only get the Child Tax Credit for children 16 or younger on Dec 31, 2019.  If he turned 17 in 2019 you get the 500 Other Dependent Credit for him.

The $500 Other Dependent Credit is non refundable.  That is, it can only be used to reduce your tax liability.  If it takes less than $500 to reduce your tax to zero, the rest is not sent to you.
