Married but not on mortgage or deed but I have to sign quitclaim to relinquish my interest in the property due to 2021 divorce.

I have been paying the mortgage since the home was purchased by my husband and his parents last November. Long story short we are in the process of divorce and I have made all the payments for 2020. I have to sign a quitclaim relinquishing any interest I have in the home to my in-laws at the time the divorce is final. Can I claim the interest since I do have legal interest in the property and have made all the payments on the home?

yes if the mortgage was in your name.

you can't deduct interest on a mortgage that you did not take out.
