Mortgage interest and refinancing form 1098 .they keep saying needs review but we didnt finance anything

what do i do with needs info if i have no mortgage

Form 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement is used by lenders to report the amounts paid by a borrower if it is $600 or more in interest, mortgage insurance premiums, or points during the tax year.

If you didn't pay any mortgage interest you can follow the steps below to delete the form:

  • Login to your account. 
  • Select Federal from the left menu.
  • Go to Deductions and Credits.
  • Select review next to Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098).
  • Select the trash can icon next to delete the 1098 form.
