moving expense deduction (CA FTB 3913)- Am I qualified?

Last year my company assisted my relocation to CA. It basically covers/reimburse all cost (travel, moving stuffs etc) and added the all the cost to my W-2. The also added tax-assistance to cover additional tax incurred by this.

I know moving expense is not deductible on federal level, but are these cost deductible to CA state tax with form 3913?

I was confused as though these cost were said to be covered/reimbursed but all these payouts were rolled to my W-2 already.

Yes, use Form 3913 to deduct moving expenses. Yes, companies must include moving expenses in your w2 wages. Some states allow a deduction and CA is one of them.
