My 2018 Child Tax Credit only shows $1,251.00? I thought it was $2000 per child for 2018?

You may have not received the credit because your income is too high or your income is too low.

Your income may have been too high- The Child Tax Credit begins to phase out when your income reaches $200,000 or $400,000 for married filing joint

Your income may have been too low-The Child Tax Credit will not reduce your liability below zero. However, if you have earned income of atleast $2500 you can receive the Additional Child Tax Credit up to $1400.

Please take a look at the following link which will give you more information on the Child Tax Credit.
