My child was born on 12/10/2016. Did he is eligible for child credit ? 21 days old my child is eligible for child credit $1000?

my child birth date is 12/10/2017.

 I wan to know did he eligible for 0 month tax exemption or 1 month tax exemption or 1 year tax exemption.

If your son was born during the year, he is considered as having lived with you the whole year.

And yes, he is eligible to all applicable credits such as the child tax credit, the dependent exemption and the Earned Income credit.

When I file tax through turbotax one of the question like how many months your kid with you?  The selection option 0 to 12 is appearing.  Here do i need to select 12 months or 0 month (my son is 21 days old) ... please provide the answer.
