My employer put $1000 in my HSA. I put in the $600 in my HSA. So do I enter the $600 in where it says enter contribution at

No, you don't enter anything since you entered the information when you entered your W-2.  Both your and your employer's HSA contributions are reported in Box 12 of your W-2 with the code W (Company Contributions to Health Savings Account).

 

If you made an HSA contribution that wasn't reported on my W-2, please see the following:

 

We'll ask about this uncommon situation when you step through the Medical section.

  1. Look for the questions Were HSA contributions made in 2019? or Do you need to make any adjustments to your HSA contribution amount? 
  2. When you answer Yes, we'll open a screen where you can enter your contribution.
